It seems that every day we log into our internet provider and search the world wide web we see signs of technology continuing to show growth with leaps and bounds into artificial intelligence, robotics, even extending itself into a diverse number of fields daily. Is that the beginning of the end? Is this the Orwellian sign we have all been looking for since George Orwell write 1984? For many people all of this sounds hopeful; that is, robots entering into. a day to day walks with mankind in the work sector. 

Will I be Replaced by AI?

Machines being replaced by robots and humans being partially replaced by robots who can execute repetitive tasks at a much faster and more efficient manner than humans are possible to do. Furthermore, we are looking at a huge shift for businesses to potentially change the landscape of how they make and spend their revenue. The demand for AI for AI from largest corporations on the planet is growing and bots of some sort are accomplishing the frontend work, especially answering customers questions at least 80-85% of the time.

A Short History of AI Conversational AI

These were the early models for AI. Fifty years of software solutions with AI and the technological bullish trend is getting stronger by the day. 

Ai and Humans on the Same Footing?

Commercial and industrial sites are using conversational AI to pick up the slack where humans cannot always be. It also cuts back on the number of human resources a corporation has to have in order to meet the demand of customers. The workload is first given to an intelligent but automated system, then for more personal issues that can’t be met by the conversational solution, then a human enters into the picture. Each robot and human have their part to play and each complements the other. When a human can’t work24 hours a day, an automated system can answer at least 80% of all incoming questions. Both chatbot and human are tested, critiqued, improved and enter the same criteria for work, yet the AI component of the business works without pay; that is, once the solution is up and running, the AI solution only needs software updates, by not a paycheck. 

The Future of AI

The future of technology developing new solutions along AI and robotics seems stronger than ever. Major studies show that by 2026 more than 30% of jobs will be repalced by a robot that can do the same job with better precision, lower maintenance and bring great savings to the business.
